Nothin' But Love

Wow! It’s been an exhausting week with all that I have learned. I verbally sparred and made taunting faces at the baby in the mirror several times…we will meet again. I finally figured out how to get that elusive stuffed giraffe into my mouth and get several of my toys to make noise. And last but not least on my list of cool discoveries is that I can laugh out loud (or in web speak ‘lol’)! Now, mum and dad say that I often have a big chuckle in my sleep but this was the first time it actually came out of my mouth out loud. My friend Carolyn was playing with me while mum was doing some dishes (I can’t wait to help out =) ) and I was just having such a great time that I couldn’t help myself! Mum was a bit slow but she got to the video camera and caught us playing on tape- click here to see our video. Today we went to church, I had a long 4-hour sleep this afternoon and now it’s bath time. Signing off!

Oh yeah, the picture on the right(yes I know my right from my left) is something that Mum and I threw together for dad for V-day.

Shot and Put To Bed!

This week I received my first shots! You can see my war wounds on the right. I wasn't really sure what to expect, but the looks on Mum's and Dad's faces did not have me excited about the adventure. Dad said that when he was a kid they gave him candy when he had shots, but thought maybe I could get an I.O.U. on that for later. In the end, I survived without too much drama, but I think Mum and Dad are still recovering.


Today I slept in my real bed for the first time! I've been sleeping with Mum and Dad ever since "the beginning" but now they want me to be able to sleep on my own. I don't get it...Mum and Dad get to cuddle with each other, why can't I join in? But they assure me that I will still get lots of cuddles. I'm not really a fan of my crib yet but we'll see- it might grow on me. Anyway, click here to see a summary of this week.

Nice hands...

Mum and Dad always brag about how beautiful my hands are so here they are. They just look like normal hands to me. Beautiful or not, I'm still working on my thumb war game(click here). It won't be long now and I'll whip anyone. That's all for now, it's bed time!
